Mosca, 15 ott. Il presidente russo, Vladimir Putin, ha confermato la sua partenza per Teheran nelle prossime ore, al termine del summit con il cancelliere tedesco, Angela Merkel, a Wisbaden. ''Certo che vado in Iran'', ha affermato Putin nella conferenza stampa congiunta con la Merkel.
Ieri i servizi di sicurezza russi avevano fatto trapelare la notizia di un attentato ai danni del presidente in coincidenza della sua missione in Iran, per il vertice dei capi di stato dei Paesi del Mar Caspio, che si terra' domani. E oggi un portavoce del Cremlino aveva dichiarato: ''Non posso ne' confermare ne' smentire il fatto che la visita si fara'''.

Iran, cambia lo scenario...
I Servizi segreti russi hanno avvertito il presidente russo Vladimir Putin di un possibile complotto per assassinarlo durante la vista che compirà a Teheran domani. Ad annunciarlo ieri sera è stato lo stesso Cremlino. L'Iran - riporta l'agenzia Reuters -ha liquidato come notizia priva di fondamento l'annuncio dato dall'agenzia di stampa russa Interfax di un attentato preparato contro Putin da parte di attentatori suicidi, parlando di "guerra psicologica" di cui sarebbero autori i nemici di Teheran -- apparentemente le potenze occidentali -- per minare le relazioni russo-iraniane.
Il vice portavoce del Cremlino Dmitry Peskov ha detto sempre a Reuters di non essere a conoscenza di eventuali cancellazioni del viaggio di Putin. Si tratta del primo viaggio di un leader del Cremlino a Teheran dalla Seconda Guerra Mondiale, che cade in un momento di tensione internazionale sulle ambizioni nucleari dell'Iran.
Peskov invitato a commentare la notizia data dalla stampa russa sul complotto, al telefono da Teheran, ha detto: "L'informazione viene verificata dai servizi segreti... il presidente è stato informato".
"Una fonte affidabile in uno dei servizi speciali russi ha ricevuto informazioni da parecchie fonti esterne alla Russia, secondo cui si sta organizzando un tentativo di assassinio durante la visita del presidente russo a Teheran", ha scritto Interfax, senza dire se le fonti siano eventualmente legate ai governi occidentali.
Putin è arrivato ieri sera a Wiesbaden, in Germania, per colloqui con la cancelliere tedesca Angela Merkel, che dovrebbero riguardare anche il tema dell'Iran.
Ieri Interfax aveva riportato che i servizi di sicurezza hanno informato che un gruppo di attentatori e di sequestratori sono stati addestrati a uccidere o rapire Putin, la cui visita comincia appunto domani.
Il presidente russo parteciperà a un vertice degli stati del Mar Caspio che si terrà a Teheran. Ma l'incontro già fissato col presidente iraniano Mahmoud Ahmadinejad potrebbe dargli l'opportunità di cercare un compromesso sulla vicenda nucleare e di mostrare anche l'indipendenza del Cremlino sul Medio Oriente.

Tehran University students "Death to Dicator" ref. AhmadiNejad
Da un blog Iraniano, riporto questa testimonianza. Chissà che non sia l'albore di un movimento studentesco in crescendo. Ma probabilmente avrebbe un altro tipo di carisma e un altra impostazione...

On October 8 this week Mahmoud AhmadiNejad the President of the occupational Islamic Republic arrived at Tehran University were he was scheduled to give a speech. Heavy security and screening processes was in place to ensure that the few students allowed into the auditorium were regime-loyalists or basiji (a paramilitary organization consisting mainly of young disenchanted/indoctrinated villagers) so that no disruptions or complications need take place during the speech; knowing full well that if Iranian students were allowed into the auditorium there would not only be a security risk towards the Islamic Republic's president but also the fact that students would be able to pose obviously relevant questions which the regime to date has not been ready to answer (regarding the non-existence of freedom and democracy in Iran etc).Under the heavy presence of the terrorist Islamic Republic's armed security forces hundreds if not up to a thousand of Tehran University students were showcasing their public rejection of the illegal/occupational Islamic regime and its President Mahmoud AhmadiNejad within the university premises - the students were not allowed to leave the University premises but were locked onto campus. As Potkin says in his entry - the university was under a military siege as AhamdiNejad addressed his supporters.Some of the chants, slogans, and poster's by the Iranian students were:
"Death to Dictator", "Free imprisoned students", "We have questions too, Why only Columbia?" , "Here is Columbia too", "In Columbia yes, in Tehran no?", "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad source of poverty and corruption", "Freedom is our definite right", "Fashist government should be destroyed", "Shame on the regime leave the university", "student torture is condemned". "we don't want dictator regime, we don't want mercenary police", "political prisoners must be freed", "shame on police, leave the university", "Fashist president, university is not your place".The importance of this event was once again forgotten of or given minimalist attention to by the western media outlets who even then downplayed the size of the demonstration to a "handful" or "around 100".
